According to Shakespeare, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Well, my God is sweeter even than the sweetest rose. Does He, because we call Him something else, seize to be the great, “I AM”?! Churches usually teach inclusion through exclusion…but I am going to concentrate on our similarities!
Day 1:
1. Christianity says: do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
2. Buddhism says: hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.
Day 2:
3. Baha’i: Lay not on any soul a load that you would not wish to be laid upon you and desire not for anyone the things you would not desire for yourself.
4. Islam: None of you truly have the faith if you do not desire for your brother that which you desire for yourself.
